2007 Calendars 1:12 Scale

A calendar is an essential item in every home and your dolls' house or roombox should be no exception. Make a calendar with a static picture or one where the picture changes monthly. Or go for broke and make both types.

The calendar on the left has a picture that remains the same throughout the year while the months are changed. The theme of the picture is entirely up to you.

1. Download these two files on to your hard drive ( cm_back.jpg and calendar_months.jpg ).
(Click on each file name to display the image on your screen. Then right click on this image and select "save image as" to a location on your hard drive.)
2. Open the files in your graphics program.
3. Print the calendar back (cm_back.jpg - my printer lists the dimensions for this as width: 33.867mm and height: 45.974mm) on to cardstock (any colour) and cut it out.  After cutting the back measures 2.3cm x 3.8cm.
4. Print the calendar months (calendar_months.jpg - my printer lists the dimensions for this as width: 82.804mm and height 63.669mm) on to paper.
5. Carefully cut the months apart and stack them in month order. Secure the stack with a paper clamp.
6. Cover the top edge of stack with a coat of tacky glue. Leave to dry.
7. Select a picture or design for the calendar top and cut it to size for the space provided.
8. Glue the picture on to the cardstock and glue the calendar stack underneath.

The calendar on the right is one where both month and picture are changed monthly. In this case the picture is the flower and star sign for each month.
